Kshitij 09 Pronites!

This year, Kshitij '09, Mithibai's inter-college festival, has a theme of `The Carnival', to push the grimness of 26/11 from everyone's minds. The tagline, `Soaring beyond the horizon' is meant to capture the essence of the same.
So this year, the college has a stellar line-up for their Pronite, that consists of international Punjabi singer, Juggy D, DJ B-Projekt, Delhi-based electronica group, Jalebee Cartel, guitarist Warren Mendonsa, metal band, Scribe and rock band, Blakc.
Bouncing back Says Kshitij Chairperson, Ketan Rambhia , "We had a spectacular line-up for last year's Pronites, which included some big time artists. They had already confirmed and the stage had literally been set. But due to the unfortunate terror attacks, the Pronites had been cancelled altogether as a tribute to the martyrs and due to certain security purposes. So this time, we are bouncing back with a bang."
Event details Parth Pandya, Head of Department for Pronites gives the line-up, "On December 16, the first night of Kshitij `09, the guitar hero of India: Warren Mendonsa (from Blackstratblues) will play `live' after a gap of four years. Hard core rock band, Scribe, will open for Warren Mendonsa, who blazed the fretboard with India's most magnetic act Zero for over seven years."
Vice Chairperson of Kshitij '09, adds,"On December 17, Blakc and Jalebee Cartel, India's most successful `live' electronica act will take the stage. And on December 18, the stage will belong to B-Projekt and Juggy D, who has collaborated with the likes of Madonna, Mary J Blige, Ricky Martin and Madonna on remixes."
The official Kshitij website, www.mithibaikshitij.org offers details for passes for the Pronites, which can also be taken from the college building itself.
